About elspeth...Elspeth Anne Beier - Portrait

Elspeth's intuitive skills are matched by over 30 years of training and experience. The first threshold of expertise actually came through taiji, the martial art known to be the great grandfather of all martial arts. In that discipline you learn all about the five elements, the astrological animals, how to stand steady on a moving point and be deeply still while active. Elspeth holds a 3 year degree in feng shui, and has been privileged enough to study with many great teachers, including Master Joseph Yu.

WORDS FROM ELSPETH...

Sometimes in childhood, talents are exposed or forecasted in subtle ways, as was the case for me. Very early on I began to draw floor plans, lots and lots of them, along with moving my heavy mahogany bedroom furniture, rather frequently. That was the outward appearance. Inwardly, my thought patterns moved in an almost haunting repetitive way, "Who am I, and why am I here?" By the time I reached high school I had turned to meditation and to extensive reading on Eastern thought. In 1973, I became a taiji instructor, continued on studying and teaching Agni Yoga and Chinese philosophy. The understanding of five elements, believed to govern or influence time and space, was increased. There were a number of remarkable people who have miraculously shown up on my horizons to teach me, and expose me to deeper levels of consciousness.

Teachers and masters of Asian arts have appeared as pure gifts, and remain so to this day. For many years I worked with a traditional Chinese acupuncturist watching miracles, and absorbing all that I could about how to balance qi in the body and mind. Traveling to China and Indonesia introduced me first hand to how these cultures practice and revere this ancient art. For instance, I went to the opening of a business that had been feng shuied the day before. I learned that no one would work there until that was done, which is quite common in Asian cultures. All of the big American firms that are now entering the Chinese market have to catch up fast, they will lease the office, have everything ready to go, and the employees will not enter the building until its energy had been cleared and all adjustments have been done.

I took the study of feng shui very seriously, read everything I could get my hands on, and like many, was left a bit confused as well as enthused. So, I sought formal training, and have a three year degree in feng shui as well as extensive education in Chinese astrology. It is a lifelong pursuit to find one's passion, live it and own it. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to do what I do. I love it beyond words; I am enriched beyond measure by being able to help others find their own balance and true identity.
