The need for the use of feng shui principles is everywhere. The New England estate pictured here is by far my favorite residential project. I was brought in to consult on the landscaping, architecture, placement of the house and the interior appointments. All of the participants from the contractor to the world renowned designer, David Beal, were open minded, engaged and eager to implement this art. No one was more enthusiastic and supportive than the owner, who is a sensitive visionary with an innate feel for balance and harmony. It was truly a team effort to create one of the most spectacular homes anywhere.
The original structure had once been grand itself and enjoyed that stature from the early 1920’s up until the early 1980’s. In classical Flying Stars feng shui, time is as important as structure or space.
Making sure that prosperity flowed, which includes the abundance of everything inclusive of health and all levels of well being, was my job.
Where to position the front door, what approach would the long driveway have, what colors go in what room and clearing the space of any invisible obstacles was part of this process that has taken many years to get to this finished masterpiece.
